White House Celebrate AAPI Heritage Month

President Obama invited leaders of the AAPI community to the White House to celebrate AAPI Heritage Month. The man introducing the president is none other than Father Vien the speaker for the Chaplain's Tea and Movie Screening co-sponsored by ViSA in March.

Be Counted, Be Recognized

Two videos with a message about writing in Taiwanese for ethnicity. The first one features a wide range of Taiwanese Amercians from a Barack Obama impersonator of Youtube fame to adorable little kids.

This second video was made by the Taiwanese Student Association of UC Berkeley. We applaud the sense of student activism.
